Darrnell Long is a seasoned finance and accounting professional with over 20 years of professional experience. He has gained expertise in a variety of sectors, spending seven years in banking, seven in higher education, and another seven in the non-profit industry. Darrnell combines his expertise with a servant leadership approach to management, always seeking mutual understanding and being willing to roll up his sleeves and do the work alongside his team.

He has demonstrated his commitment to sharing his knowledge with colleagues in the field of accounting and finance through numerous speaking engagements at professional trade association conferences. His thoughtful, humorous, and insightful presentations have garnered widespread recognition and respect within the higher education and non-profit communities. 

Darrnell received his Master's in Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of Management and his Bachelor's in Business Administration with an accounting concentration from Morehouse College. 

As a native of Atlanta, Darrnell is active in his local community, serving in many roles. However, none of the roles are as important to him as the role of husband to his wife and best friend Shaleece and father to their daughter Serenity. Darrnell cherishes quality time with his wife and daughter and is a proud #GirlDad supporting his princess in all that she does - competitive dance, swimming, cheerleading, soccer, gymnastics, and tumbling – just to name a few.
